Ryan is a senior business team leader accountable for managing and implementing global proactive media relations and corporate communications within the aviation and airlines industries. Ryan provides senior counsel on a variety of communications issues and works directly with top-tier national print, broadcast and online media.

His current client is American Airlines, one of the world’s largest airlines, and is based onsite at American where he works hand in hand with the client’s communications team and leadership on day-to-day and strategic communications. Ryan and his colleagues on the American team have been recognized for their outstanding work and together with American have been the recipients of more than 70 awards for excellence in communications over the past four years.

Ryan’s experience in communications spans more than 20 years and multiple industries including high tech, financial services and telecommunications. Prior to joining Weber, Ryan led global industry vertical communications for Oracle Corporation in Redwood Shores, California and has held senior communications positions at Esurance Inc. (a part of White Mountains Insurance Group), Visa International, Harris Corporation and Verizon.

His skill set includes expertise in national and local media relations, crises communications and issues management, financial communications and analyst relations. Ryan is a former student athlete and graduate of Fresno State University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism-public relations and is a proud Dad of two children.
